The role of distance education in Puerto Rico must be one which promotes proactive integration with Student – student and Teacher with students in a completely professional.

Online education in Puerto Rico is a trend that surrounds us every day more, for this reason is useful and necessary, as teachers have an open university clarify some concepts that guide the work of teachers. This paper presents some ideas which aim to place the teacher in the context of a distance education model and understand what their role and responsibility in student learning and success of an educational program.

Elements of the process of distance education

Distance education models are based on three elements:
a. educational materials
b. advice or guidance of a teacher or specialist in the field
c. evaluation as a means of accreditation.

These elements are complemented by administrative infrastructure, management systems, university centers, information sources, among others, which are integrated into a teaching model as a complete and complex system of relationships designed to fulfill one goal: to educate. The actors in this process are the teachers, students and the institution sponsoring the program, we have an educational process comprising the universe of relationships that may arise between the actors and model components.

The teacher is responsible for conducting the process, tracing the lines of learning that must follow the student and provide necessary educational resources, their work is reflected through the development of materials and advice, their participation is vital because of its correct performance depends on the success of the program, either in terms of assimilation of content, as attrition rates, student satisfaction and approval.

The student is the center of the educational model, it is routed to all actions and efforts of teachers and the institution. At a distance model is necessary to be clear that the student is the protagonist of his own background, is he who, through effort and perseverance in reaching goals that will mean their whole degree. The formative nature of self-care educational materials, implicitly, the work of the student learning is largely autonomous and self-regulating. It is autonomous because it is he who develops the various activities, assignments and readings for each section which includes the subject, is self-regulated, because it is he who marks his own pace according to their possibilities of time, distributing the workload over time in order to complete the total of activities within the prescribed deadlines.

The institution, for its part, is responsible for the academic support, legal and infrastructure of educational programs that are offered. The institutional obligations can be grouped into two. The first group refers to all those logistical, organizational, technological, together constitute the necessary platform for the educational process to develop properly, the second group consists of academic and legal aspects, which give the rigor, quality and validity to the program.

The harmonization of the elements and actors of the educational model is a complex task. On each of these elements and actors is affected by numerous factors that can cause imbalances when operating together. The operational details, academics and methodology are of great importance and significance to the success of a program. Hence, the need for clearly defined roles and responsibilities of the actors and especially that they know the model and the role that he met others involved in the process. Integrating the work of actors, facilities and resources that present model elements achieve an integrated and interrelated whole affected by a set of interdependent variables whose impact is crucial to the performance of other system components.

Educational models and distance
They are a complex set of processes aimed at achieving a more meaningful learning in students. It consists of a set of subsystems with specific functions that involve interrelated and interdependent variables. From an overall perspective, the educational model can focus their attention on the teacher or the student, in the first case, the educational models focusing on the teacher are used by educational institutions, training providers face in the second case, the educational model focusing on the student, are used by institutions offering distance learning.

The traditional educational models are characterized by face focus development in the teaching process, relegating the student to be an observer and listener in most cases. Such models weigh a lot more learning and teaching that its applicability is limited to face environment. The teacher plays a leading role in combining the use of some resources, mainly the board and his voice through these, achieves what is commonly known as “transfer of knowledge” rather than actual learning, the result being a low level assimilation and resulting in “a temporary knowledge which tends to forget easily. The student, meanwhile, is a recipient of the transmission performed by the teacher, their learning is limited in many cases, what is memorable as a result of “listening and observing.”

Distance education models, by their nature, lack of a teacher to guide the process in person, so they are forced to separate the leading role of the teacher and the student pass, he does through an appropriate methodology and means to a dialogue didactic, strengthens their own learning and development. Learning is based on the work, whether through reading, learning activities, group work, formative assessment, and so on. This work has the advantage of learning activities raise the level of assimilation of the content, as it learns and assimilates what we do better than those who simply hear and see. A student-centered model is conducive to self-learning and the transmission of values, their different components orient their efforts to facilitate student learning, providing it with resources, complemented with previously scheduled activities, adequate monitoring and support of the teacher can achieve a more effective and meaningful learning.

Educational models and new technologies
It is important to understand that there is a difference between distance and attendance system supported by technology, areas in which each applies are different, and therefore the effects on the educational community are also different. Additionally it is necessary to be clear that the technological aspect is an element that is subject to the requirements and institutional needs and in no case has a defining character lines on policy or institutional action. In this sense we can say that technology is only half the work easier and opens up possibilities in many cases, but is not a straitjacket that determines the educational work.

The technologies have evolved educational models regardless of their approach, have affected both models to-face training as a model for distance learning. In regard to the latter, the change has occurred in its three basic elements.

Teaching Evolution
The way of teaching is the one that has been affected, the teacher’s role has changed, now having to contemplate additional functions that require primarily skills and motivation, the teacher’s activities have diversified and new general conception of the role has acquired can be summarized with the word “manager” of learning. This new task must be tempered with qualities and skills that together allow for adequate performance and help guide the learning of a group of people. Mentoring made by the teacher to address those concerns that may arise in the student learning during development, has become more flexible. The use of tools such as email, discussion forums and virtual discussion spaces have fostered a new concept of “group learning” which uses the knowledge distributed in each of the students and faculty to create new knowledge based on reading, reflecting, through exchange of views argued.

The main advantage of the use of these tools (discussion forums and virtual) is on the asynchrony, the participants of a forum or debate can log their views at any time within a given period, but generally large (one or two weeks) and the recipients have access to each share and may respond as they saw. In the case of email, the application eliminates the problems of saturation of the teacher with phone calls and gives you more freedom and time to prepare more elaborate responses and aid, while able to respond within a reasonable time to all students of queries.

The student role has also been affected, consider that the distance student is an entity with assets and facilities of communication technologies that have the potential isolation of the victim was, and no longer can assert virtual spaces to interact and build their own knowledge as a product of discussion and exchange with peers and teachers in managing group learning.

Institutions should consider the possibilities that technology opens up the teaching and preparing teachers to meet the challenge of combining technology and learning opportunities aimed at enhancing student learning which the target of ongoing efforts is.

Evolution of materials
There is a misconception that the use of technology for learning, means less burden from the student activities. The reality is that this distance is hard work and is based on activities and reading content. Printed materials, though it seems hard to believe, not out of fashion, even the most important universities in the world have this medium as a basic element of their educational models. It is very common that students receive textbooks, teaching guides including printed and virtual universities using the same scientific articles that are not physically sent when they are downloaded from the Internet by students, who are responsible for printing. Digital educational materials such as electronic books, multimedia applications, among others, are considered elements of support, very useful but not essential in a distance learning process supported by technology. Such materials have a scope within the context of a course or subject, should be framed to cover those aspects in which the benefits of the implementation is practical and effective.

The technologies have enabled educational materials are acquiring new shapes and presentations, interactivity can be achieved with multimedia applications, the portability of eBooks, audio and video are elements that have great advantages for a more meaningful learning . The use of these advantages lies in its strength within the content, but mostly right mix experience ensures a better outcome in the satisfaction and level of assimilation of the student.

Evolution of the evaluation
The evaluation of distance education is taken in two ways:
a. the first one as a learning strategy
b. the second a means of accreditation of knowledge.

In any case, the technology applied to personalize the site evaluation process and meet the student’s skills. Are used interactive self-assessments, which argued, immediate feedback is very important and useful for the student to know the level reached the correct time and know the areas in which content must focus more. The online evaluations are common for certain types of programs, they will have a period of time to answer a questionnaire with questions selected randomly and be objective, but not the referent of the knowledge gained by the student. Despite the technological development achieved can not be certain that the person doing the online assessment is who should be, for that reason the online assessment is applied as a learning strategy that leads the student to apply what learned and yet to know what their weaknesses.

Conclusion
It must be clear to teachers as an educational institution at university level should be open-minded considering that the model applies is student-centered and therefore the task of teaching to be a comprehensive guide, motivator and facilitator, and is limited in his starring role in the process and must consider the student as a receiver of knowledge. Being one of the elements of a distance education model involves a willingness to coordinate teacher training and resources and consider the student not as an isolated issue but as a central part of the proactive education community.

The distance learning student is based on what they can develop and build through learning activities, lectures, development of self-assessments, group work and with the help of the teacher and distributed through its teaching materials, advice and feedback. The combination of these efforts is reflected in the acquisition of skills, abilities and knowledge development.

How about studying the most difficult concepts in Physics of the luxury of sitting in your cozy room? Sounds interesting! If this entices you enough to try your hand at online education, hold on! You will be happy to know that this is only one of the several benefits of online education. There is a lot that online education has to offer to school students in terms of the quality and quantity of subject specific study content and a host of other related benefits.

To elucidate on the benefits of online education to all you students in school out there studying under various boards such as CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board, here are a few points.

• The anywhere, anytime factor! Unlike tuition classes which have fixed hours, students can study online anytime, as per their own convenience. All that a student needs is a computer and an internet connection. Once the necessary hardware components are in place, students can start surfing their way through the plethora of information available online. The advantage of round-the-clock availability of interesting study content has indeed made more students get inclined towards this medium in addition to using other conventional study mediums and methods such as books.

• A Student-centric teaching approach! Unlink the regular classroom teaching at schools and tuition centres, the online education follows an approach that is more student-centric rather than being teacher- oriented. Students not only have a say in the timing of their study schedules but are also equipped with the power to decide their own pace of learning. While studying online, students are under no pressure whatsoever to complete their studies within a stipulated time period. Online education is especially a boon for students tend to learn at a pace slower than most others in the class, as they can take as much time to understand and learn a concept well as they wish to. While studying online students need not feel shy in asking questions and wanting to read the said study material over and over again.

• Involvement of multiple media! Studying from simple black and white text is no more a compulsion for students studying under CBSE, ICSE, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Matriculation board. Online education offers a lot of interesting and innovative methods in teaching concepts to these school students. Apart from the regular study material, students can study using videos, animations, multimedia enriched puzzles etc. There are various websites that provide curriculum aligned study content for these boards using multiple media that can make studies very interesting and learning easy.

• Low cost! With very low cost involved, online education will not burn a hole in the pockets of students. Unlike study courses at tuition centers that involve a hefty monthly or a yearly fee, online education is a comparatively low cost affair. Apart from the subscription costs, there is no significant cost involved in studying online. Studying using online education, students can save a lot of money and time that is saved in doing away with unnecessary commuting to and fro schools, colleges, tuition centers etc.

I am positive that all these benefits of online education will help you understand and use this medium better and will also help you with your studies in school.

Online education makes it possible to earn a degree while maintaining work schedules and keeping family commitments. If you missed out on college while you were in your twenties, or never finished high school – or simply want to upgrade your current skills or learn some new ones – online education can be an excellent solution.

Online Education Schools Offer Flexibility

If time and scheduling issues have prevented you from completing a degree or certification, you’ll be glad to know that online education colleges and high schools offer a degree of flexibility that brick and mortar institutions cannot match. When working through the course requirements for online education degrees for example, you may have up to twelve months to complete a given class. You choose when to hand in assignments and when to take exams, all of which makes it easy to plan around your work and family lives.

The other advantage here is that there is no need to travel; all coursework can be completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Accredited

In fact, most online education schools are operated by public school districts; likewise, online education colleges are most often part of a traditional brick and mortar institution. This means that online education degrees have the same credibility and weight as any other.

Cost-Effective

Because institutions that offer online education are part of brick-and-mortar institutions, they are eligible for the same financial aid programs. In addition, online education degrees don’t have the same expenses that would involve attendance in person; you won’t have to pay lab fees, parking fees, student body fees, Internet usage fees, dining fees, or fees for the privilege of paying more fees. There are hardly any drawbacks to online education schools.

Choices

Finally, you’ll discover a wide range of degree programs offered through online education. Most online education schools offer the same programs and options to their Web-based distance learners as they do their local on-site students.

The main challenge about an online education is narrowing your focus. There are literally hundreds of thousands of choices on the World Wide Web, so it’s a good idea to have a solid plan made before you start checking out distance learning programs on the ‘Net. Whether it’s finishing your high school equivalency or starting in on a pre-med program, you will find that online education offers effective options.

Online Education – A Time-Effective Mode Of Learning

Constructing one’s daily schedule in the most ‘time-effective’ way is the key to success today, considering the pace at which everybody’s life is running.Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

Leverage the ‘Time factor’ and you have made it to the top. This explains the increasing significance of online education. This is why the number of online schools and colleges has increased significantly across in the United States (US) and other parts of the world. This indicates the growing shift towards online education.

Here are some of the most important advantages and benefits that online education offers, which you may consider in case you are looking out for various options to pursue higher education at your own pace and without disturbing your schedule.

Accessibility: Thanks to online education, the distance from the campus is no longer a barrier that separates education and the students. Today’s generation of students has the advantage of utilizing their time effectively, since there is distant online education available to them. To access online learning, all that the students need to do is to install the contemporary communication equipment such as computer and Internet and enroll for the desired courses online.

Student-Centered Learning: The students dictate the learning experience in online education. Here because the teacher is not teaching you all the time, you have the liberty to prioritize your schedule and complete the assignments as per your convenience. In online mode of education, the students are at freedom to select their learning methodology. The choices available are audio, video, or oral components.

Fair Playing Field: Online education is growing in popularity also because it promises a level playing field for the people participating in it. Learning online does away the bias and colored decision-making based on ethnicity, physical appearance, race or gender of the student. Here, the sole criterion of evaluation is the performance of the student.

Convenience and Flexibility: Online mode of education offers the participants the flexibility of gaining access to the lessons online. This is very convenient and does not hamper the education process if the student is not staying at a convenient location. Moreover, online education and learning has overcome the barrier of time. This allows the students to attend lectures for various subjects as per their schedules. Therefore in online education the students have an opportunity to set the priority of their schedule and execute the tasks at hand accordingly.

Most students prefer online education because it eliminates the necessity of them going away from their parents to pursue their goal. With online education all you need to succeed in your courses is installation of contemporary communications equipment and motivation to succeed.Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

middle, and high schools, you can also get a job in other fields with an online education degree. People with education degrees work in many different places, such colleges and universities, libraries, and hospitals.

Online education degrees provide the knowledge and training that all teachers need to make a positive contribution to the organizations they work for. Keep in mind that this is a broad overview, and that a more specialized degree, such as a Masters degree in Special Education, goes more in-depth.

Every year, more than one million college graduates enter the workforce. This means that every single person hunting for a job faces stiff competition from other grads. People who have their online education degrees have the competitive advantage over people who don’t have an education degree. They obtained the education needed to meet employers’ expectations: they have an established knowledge of educational concepts.

Education degrees will prepare you for entry-level careers in education, such as elementary, middle, or high school teaching positions. If you are already in the workforce, then an education degree can help you advance your career. If you are thinking about a career change, then getting your online education degree can help with that as well.

People with online education degrees have jobs in many different areas. The need for qualified educators is growing, and schools around the world are snatching them up as fast as they can. If you have a passion for helping people learn, then you will find a job with a degree in education.

Some examples of employers who hire people with their online education degrees include:

Elementary, Middle and High Schools
Colleges and Universities
Churches
Consulting Firms
Day Care Centers
Correctional Facilities
Hospitals
Libraries
Non-profit Organizations
Preschools

You’re probably wondering “what are some of the specific jobs people with online education degrees have?” In reality, there are too many to name, but some examples are:

Child Care Administrator
Elementary School Teacher
Athletic Coach
Teacher’s Assistant
Professional Tutor
Corporate Trainer
Middle School Teacher
Preschool Teacher
Special Education Teacher
Preschool Teacher Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

Some people understood that online education options is a good choice only for students who have a excellent track record. It was also assumed that only those students having entrance to computers and fresh means of communication would advantage from online education options. However, with moment such notions are giving way to an open receipt where people have started accepting online education options as a feasible option for conservative education.

Not all online education options have a similar whas and advance. There are various modes of online education options accessible and it would be better if you have an understanding of different methodologies in use by online education options so that you can select the classes with the methodology that suits you the best. This methodology is also recognized as synchronous sort of learning. In this type of online education options, there is immediate communication between the students and teachers and at times even between different students. Herein all the participants find access to information concurrently. Effective classroom using the facility of video or audio conferencing and real-time chat are some examples of this mode of online education options. This learning method has its advantages and disadvantages. This mode is more similar to the conservative education except for the reality that the students don’t have to travel to the classrooms. The biggest advantage of online education options is that it allows instant feedback for the student’s performance and allows active communication between the students and teachers. The students can obtain the training and education that is modified their needs. Online education options also facilitate the setting up of learning communities and groups for an improved interaction between the learners.

This manner has the disadvantage that the students cannot plan their schedule and they are bound by the pre-set schedule. Asynchronous mode of online education options is popularly termed as store and forward education. In this manner, the communication among the student and teacher is not direct. Self-paced courses are the examples of asynchronous online education options where the students communicate with the teachers and between themselves by exchanging emails and posting messages on online statement boards and discussing groups. This is the more popular mode of online education options because it offers more convenience and flexibility to the students and they can choose the schedule for their education and training.

Online education is often considered as the ‘Gen Y’ way of studying. For Generation Y, online is fast becoming the popular way to study. With broadband connection penetrating to the farthest destinations, the internet is truly going places! Online education attempts to counter the problem of poor quality of education and absentee teachers in schools, right at the outset. However, in spite of numerous benefits of online education, many are still unaware about the scope and benefits of this virtual world of online education.

For all you students out there here is a list of a few benefits of online education. I am sure that these benefits will draw you towards this medium and will also help you make your studying effective.

• The fist and foremost benefit of online education is the ‘anytime-anywhere’ advantage that sit has to offer. With online education, students can now choose to prepare their own study schedules and study as per their own convenience. Gone are the days when students had no option but to regularly attend their classes at tuition centres or schools so as to complete their syllabus within the stipulated time period. With online education, students can now choose to set their schedule sheets.

• Apart from study schedules, online education also enables students to stay in control of their study pace. Online education is a boon for both slow and fast learners. Slow learners can go through their study lessons as many times as they wish to, whereas fast learners can look forward to umpteen practice tests and revisions to further solidify their learning.

• Online education has an added advantage for students studying under the international boards. Finding a good tutor or quality study material is not always an easy task for the Indians studying under the various Indian educational boards outside India. With quality online education coming into play, students can be sure of complete and stress-free study content that will help make scoring great marks in exams easy.

• Online education imparts instructions using a variety of mediums thereby making studies interesting and engaging. Students now can study by reading online study material in text form and support it with video explanations of various concepts using real life/ 2D/ 3D videos and animations. Curriculum aligned puzzles and a variety of online and offline tests that give you instant results are some of the other benefits of online education. Thus, use of multiple media helps make studies very interesting and learning easy.

The online education systems ensure that the student’s put all their energies into studies.

A Flexible schedule: The good thing about an online education is its effective use of time. As a student of online education, you have the ability to maintain a flexible schedule, which is of particular help when you are working simultaneously.

Student-Centred Learning: As a student of online learning, it is you who dictates your learning experience. As your tutor will not be teaching you all of the time, you can prioritize your schedule and complete any and all assignments accordingly. You will also be given the choice of which learning methodology you wish to use, such as audio, visual, or oral components.

Fair Playing Field: Online education is in vogue also as it provides a level playing field for all the students. Learning online provides a situation where decision-making is not based on the candidates’ gender, ethnicity, physical appearance, or race. Instead, the evaluation is only based on your performance. The provision of this fair-playing field has significantly contributed to the popularity of online education. read more about information education school click here now

Disadvantages

Employment: Not many industries will acknowledge an online professional degree.

Oral Communication: Since, the majority of online learning systems encourage communication through e-mails and text chatting only, the student’s may be deprived of the ability to improve their oral communication skills.

Fraud: A large number of online courses are not accredited and hence are not valid.

Courses: Not all of the courses which are available elsewhere are available online.

Moreover, online learning requires a complete dedication and patience from the students to ensure they achieve superb results. It is most advisable that the students first, patiently and persistently familiarize themselves with online learning technology. Additionally, they need to always keep themselves abreast of the latest updates within the online education system, since there will be no instructor to turn to in this respect.

On-campus education vs. online education! Is one better than the other?Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

Can one completely replace the other? Indeed it seems that online education is the way of the future. Educational institutions, corporations and government organizations alike already offer various forms of electronic teaching. However, can a computer truly replace a teacher and a blackboard?

How people learn

Each individual has a form of learning that suits them best. Some individuals achieve fantastic results in courses taught online, however most people drop out of 100% computer-led courses. Educational institutions, as well as companies in carrying out staff training, must recognize that there is no ideal way to carry out the teaching of a large group of individuals, and so must design programs that best suits the needs of the group as a whole.

People learn using multiple senses. This involves learning through both theoretical components of a course, as well as social interaction with both instructors and other students. Students learn from each other’s mistakes and successes, not just from what they are told by instructors.

Each individual student has an ideal learning pace. Instructors are therefore faced with the challenge of designing courses that move forward such that those students with a slower learning pace do not get left behind, while not moving so slowly that students with faster learning paces get bored.

Online education

In the age of high-speed information transfer, online education is becoming a popular and cheap means for delivering teaching to individuals outside the classroom, and in some cases all over the world. Teaching can be via CD, websites, or through real-time online facilities such as webcasts, webinars and virtual classrooms. However, different methods of online education each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Online education is still a relatively new concept, and in many respects still in the teething stages. As such, various problems arrive across different online education environments. For example:

1. Lack of immediate feedback in asynchronous learning environments: While some online education environments such as webcasts, webinars and virtual classrooms operate live with the addition of an instructor, most do not. Teaching that is delivered through a CD or website, although having the advantage of being self-paced, provides no immediate feedback from a live instructor.

2. More preparation required on the part of the instructor: In an online education environment, an instructor can not simply stand in front of a whiteboard and deliver a class. Lessons in online education environments must be prepared ahead of time, along with any notes and instructions that may accompany the teaching.

In many cases it would also be necessary that the instructor not only understands the concepts being taught, but the technology used to deliver that teaching. This therefore increases the skill-levels needed of online education instructors, placing greater demand on educational institutions.

Staffing levels may also be higher for courses run in an online education environment, requiring for example:

The Instructor – able to teach both course content and be skilled in the use of technologies involved

The Facilitator – to assist the instructor in delivering content, but may do so remotely

Help Desk – to offer assistance to instructors, facilitators and students in the use of both software and hardware used to deliver the course.

3. Not all people are comfortable with online education: Education is no longer only sought by the world’s youth. With an increased trend towards adult and continuing education, there is a need to design courses suitable for students over a larger age-range, as well as students from different and varied backgrounds. It is difficult, however, to design online education environments suitable for everyone.

4. Increased potential for frustration, anxiety and confusion: In an online education environment, there are a greater number of parts making up the system that can fail. Server failures may prevent online courses from operating. Software based teaching applications may require other specific components to operate. Computer viruses may infect software necessary to run online education environments. If these systems are complex, students may choose the ease of On-campus education rather than taking the additional time and effort necessary to master the use of online education systems.

5. The Digital Divide: Many people who live in remote areas and developing countries do not have access to computers, making any form of online education virtually impossible. For this reason, online education is only able to be targeted at the people lucky enough to be able to take advantage of the technology involved. Similarly, offering live teaching across the world means that different time zones and nationalities increase the demand for multi-skilled instructors.Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

There were many myths and misconceived notions about online education until recent past.Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com

Some people believed that online learning is a good option only for students who have a good track record. It was also believed that only those students having access to computers and modern means of communication would benefit from online education. However, with time such notions are giving way to an open acceptance where people have started accepting online education as a viable alterative for conventional education.

Not all online education options have a similar methodology and approach. There are various modes of online education available and it would be better if you have an understanding of different methodologies in use by online education providers so that you can select the course with the methodology that suits you the best. Here we are discussing the learning methodologies for online education:

Online Education Methodologies- Different Options

Live: This methodology is also known as synchronous mode of learning. In this mode of online education, there is instant communication between the students and teachers and at times even among different students. Herein all the participants get access to information simultaneously. Virtual classroom using the facility of video or audio conferencing and real-time chat are some examples of this mode of online education.

This learning methodology has its advantages and disadvantages. This mode is more akin to the conventional education except for the fact that the students don’t have to travel to the classrooms. The biggest advantage of synchronous method of online education is that it allows instant feedback for the student’s performance and allows active interaction among the students and teachers. Thus the students can get the training and education that is tailored suit their needs. Moreover, live education also facilitates the setting up of learning communities and groups for a better interaction among the learners.

This method has the disadvantage that the students cannot plan their schedule and they are bound by the pre-set schedule.

Asynchronous: Asynchronous mode of online education is popularly termed as store and forward education. In this method, the communication between the student and teacher is not instant. Self-paced courses are the examples of asynchronous online education where the students communicate with the teachers and amongst themselves by exchanging emails and posting messages on online bulletin boards and discussing groups. This is the more popular mode of online education because it offers more convenience and flexibility to the students and they can decide the pace and schedule for their education and training.

Despite of the advantages, this mode of online education has its disadvantages too. The students in this mode of learning, lack discipline and motivation and generally tend to develop a lackluster attitude towards education.Visit Here http://special-online-education.blogspot.com
